Instant Estimate Calculator
The Instant Estimate Calculator gives facility managers, property managers, general contractors and office managers a commercial cleaning estimate for a space in New York City and the tri-state area, before anyone speaks to a salesperson. It asks about the service and the space, not about you: no contact details, no email and no phone number.
Pick a service and move the sliders: square footage for one-time projects, or schedule, crew size and hours for recurring janitorial. The estimate updates as you go. It is a preliminary figure, not a binding quote. We confirm the final number after reviewing photos, plans, a scope of work or an on-site walkthrough.
Emergency crews are dispatched 24/7 across NYC and the tri-state area. Every call-out starts from a flat minimum, and the final price depends on the damage and the hours needed on site.
How commercial cleaning is priced in NYC
The calculator uses the same rates our sales team quotes from. Recurring janitorial service is priced per cleaner-hour, and the rate drops as frequency rises: $80 per cleaner-hour for monthly service, $75 biweekly, $65 for one or two days a week, $45 for three or four days, and $41.25 for five or six days. One-time project work, including post-construction cleaning, deep cleaning, VCT floor care and decluttering, is priced per square foot: $0.95 to $1.20 per square foot for projects under 10,000 square feet, $0.75 to $0.90 from 10,000 to 29,999 square feet, and $0.65 to $0.75 from 30,000 to 50,000 square feet. Emergency call-outs start from a flat $850 minimum, since a crew has to be mobilized regardless of size.
What actually moves a number within those ranges:
- Total square footage and how much of it is in scope
- Condition of the space and the level of buildup
- Floor types, including VCT, hardwood, tile, carpet and stone
- Number of restrooms and kitchens or pantries
- Access, loading dock rules, and after-hours or weekend work
- Frequency, from a one-time project through recurring nightly service
- How quickly the work has to be finished
Every estimate here is preliminary and is confirmed only after we review photos, plans, a scope of work or an on-site walkthrough. For a full breakdown of what each service costs and why, see our NYC commercial cleaning cost guide, or send drawings and a scope through our booking form for a confirmed quote.
What each service covers
Post-Construction Cleaning
Final and rough clean after buildout: construction dust removal, debris haul-out, fixture and glass detailing, floor prep and punch-list touch-ups so the space is ready for inspection or turnover. Estimated at $0.65 to $1.20 per square foot depending on project size. See post-construction cleaning in NYC.
Deep Cleaning
A full reset for occupied space: detailed restrooms and kitchens, high and low dusting, vents, baseboards, partitions, high-touch disinfection following CDC guidance, and interior glass. Estimated at $0.65 to $1.20 per square foot depending on project size. See commercial deep cleaning in NYC.
Emergency Cleaning
Rapid response for water intrusion, sewage backups, post-incident cleanup and unplanned shutdowns, with 24/7 dispatch across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and the tri-state area. Estimated from $850. See emergency commercial cleaning.
Regular Cleaning
Recurring janitorial service on a nightly, weekly or custom schedule: workstations, restrooms, pantries, common areas, trash and recycling, plus consumables restocking under a documented scope. Estimated at $41.25 to $80 per cleaner-hour depending on frequency. See office cleaning services in NYC.
VCT Floor Care
Strip, scrub, seal, wax and burnish for vinyl composition tile, plus recurring maintenance programs that protect finish and slip resistance in lobbies, corridors and back-of-house areas. Estimated at $0.65 to $1.20 per square foot depending on project size. See floor cleaning and maintenance.
Decluttering
Organized removal of accumulated materials from offices, storage rooms, warehouses and back-of-house space, including sorting, staging, disposal coordination and a clean finish once the area is cleared. Estimated at $0.65 to $1.20 per square foot depending on project size. See our commercial cleaning services.
How these figures become a firm number
Every estimate is preliminary. Pricing is confirmed only after we review photos, plans, a scope of work or complete an on-site walkthrough, so the number you receive reflects your actual square footage, access hours, finishes and frequency. Scope is documented in writing before work begins, and a certificate of insurance (COI) is provided on request.

What happens after you request an exact quote
- We review the photos, floor plans or scope notes you submit through the calculator, and where the site is large or unusual we arrange a walkthrough with a supervisor.
- We return a written scope of work that lists every area, task and frequency, along with a firm price that replaces the preliminary estimate.
- We issue a certificate of insurance naming your ownership and management entities exactly as your building requires, so your compliance file is complete before day one.
- We agree a start date and a crew schedule that fits your building access, loading dock hours and tenant activity.
Preliminary figures shown by the calculator follow our published pricing: recurring janitorial cleaning at $41.25 to $80 per cleaner-hour depending on frequency, one-time post-construction, deep cleaning, VCT floor care and decluttering at $0.95 to $1.20 per square foot for projects under 10,000 square feet, $0.75 to $0.90 from 10,000 to 29,999 square feet, and $0.65 to $0.75 from 30,000 to 50,000 square feet, and emergency cleaning from $850. Every estimate is preliminary and is confirmed only after reviewing photos, plans, a scope of work or an on-site walkthrough. For the full breakdown, see our guide to commercial cleaning cost in NYC.

Estimate calculator FAQs
How accurate is the instant estimate calculator?
The calculator uses our published NYC rate ranges, so the number you see is close to what comparable commercial spaces pay. It is still a preliminary estimate. Final pricing is confirmed only after we review photos, plans, a scope of work or complete an on-site walkthrough, which can move the figure up or down.
Do I have to give my contact information to see a price?
The calculator is built to show you a number first, so you can size the job before any sales conversation. You share contact details only when you want a written proposal, a certificate of insurance or scheduling. Either way, the figure stays preliminary and is confirmed after a walkthrough or a review of your scope documents.
What does the price shown in the calculator include?
The range covers labor, supervision, standard equipment and commercial grade supplies for the service you selected, performed by a fully licensed, bonded and insured crew. Items such as debris removal, high dusting, exterior glass or after hours building access are scoped separately. The figure remains preliminary until a walkthrough or document review confirms it.
How fast do I get a real quote after using the calculator?
Send your calculator result with photos, floor plans or a scope of work and most requests come back with a firm written proposal within one business day. Urgent situations are handled around the clock at (800) 743-0121 or (646) 639-7892. The calculator number stays preliminary until that review or a walkthrough is complete.
Is there a minimum charge for commercial cleaning in NYC?
One-time projects under 1,000 square feet are quoted individually, and emergency call-outs start from $850. Recurring janitorial is priced per cleaner-hour, from $41.25 to $80 depending on frequency, so the minimum depends on the crew and hours your space needs. Your final price is confirmed after a walkthrough.
What if I do not know my square footage?
Pull the number from your lease, a floor plan or the building management office and enter the closest figure. If you are unsure, send photos or plans and our team will calculate the area for you. One-time projects are priced per square foot, so every estimate is confirmed after a walkthrough.
