Our workforce of 62 field technicians includes immigrants and refugees from Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Nigeria. Many arrive with limited English and no formal industry experience in the United States. Through structured training, mentorship, and support, these team members master English, complete OSHA safety training, and gain commercial cleaning mastery. For many, Clean2Clean becomes the ultimate launching pad, empowering technicians to eventually start and run their own successful businesses.
Sonya’s Journey: From Struggle to Success
A testament to this mission is Sonya, a mother of four who arrived from Argentina facing language barriers and daunting challenges. Given patience, hands-on guidance, and professional encouragement by Clean2Clean, Sonya transformed her skills over five years. Together with her husband, she achieved financial stability, purchased vehicles, moved into a home in Long Island, and launched her own business.
A Global Reach: Uplifting Virtual Teams and Refugees
Clean2Clean’s commitment to uplifting lives extends far beyond local job sites. Our global team includes 8 Filipino virtual assistants who have overcome poverty and the hardship of single parenthood through meaningful, stable employment. Additionally, our Ukrainian CRM administrator continues to manage key operations through times of national conflict, demonstrating resilience and excellence.
On a deeply personal level, Mary Piven has sponsored 5 Ukrainian refugee families, including her own sister, niece, and brother-in-law, helping them resettle safely and build secure lives in the United States.
